SoftGripping SG-3 flexible silicone vacuum gripper

The Piab piSOFTGRIP is a soft gripper that uses vacuum to hold objects through flexible silicone fingers. Vacuum draws the soft finger structure in a controlled way so it conforms around the product shape, which allows delicate, irregular or variable items such as food, produce and small parts to be handled without damaging them. The gripper is mounted on robot flanges and is driven by a Piab vacuum generator, with food-grade silicone parts suitable for hygienic applications. Typical applications include pick and place in food and packaging, e-commerce order picking and light assembly, where a single gripper must cope with a wide range of shapes and sizes.
