Inline Modular Remote I/O Terminal Block (IL PB BK DI8 DO4-PAC)

The IL PB BK DI8 DO4-PAC is a bus coupler from the Phoenix Contact Inline modular I/O system. It connects the Inline terminals to a PROFIBUS DP network, and also integrates 8 digital inputs and 4 digital outputs directly in the head module, so a basic station can operate without additional I/O. The -PAC suffix means the coupler is supplied as a package with accessories such as connectors and marking material. Further Inline terminals for digital, analog, temperature and special functions can be snapped on to the right of the coupler on a DIN rail, with a local bus carrying data and power. Configuration is performed through the PROFIBUS master using the GSD file, and the coupler offers diagnostics indicators. Typical applications include remote I/O in machine building, process systems and control cabinets using PROFIBUS.
