The PACSystems CPL410 is an Emerson industrial edge controller that combines real-time PLC control with an open Linux platform for analytics, data processing and connectivity on the same device. An Intel multicore processor runs the PACSystems control engine, programmed in Proficy Machine Edition, and Docker containers host applications. Protocols include OPC UA, MQTT and PROFINET. The DIN-rail unit has dual Ethernet and USB and works with PACSystems RSTi-EP I/O. Uses are industrial IoT, water and energy.
