ftServer 2910 fault-tolerant industrial server

The ftServer 2910 is an entry-level fault-tolerant server from Stratus Technologies that uses fully redundant hardware components operating in lockstep to deliver very high availability. Stratus designs ftServer systems so that a failure of a processor, memory or I/O component does not interrupt running applications, and the platform supports standard operating systems such as Windows Server and Linux with virtualization options. Built-in monitoring and call-home features provide remote diagnostics, while hot-swappable parts allow repairs without downtime. The 2910 is a compact rack mount configuration intended for sites that lack IT staff and cannot afford stoppage, including industrial automation, SCADA and manufacturing execution applications.
