The TP1200 Comfort is a touch-operated panel in the SIMATIC HMI Comfort Panels line, with a 12.1 inch widescreen TFT display at 1280 x 800 resolution and 16 million colours. It is configured with WinCC in the TIA Portal, and it offers a memory of 24 MB for the project, recipes and archives. The panel has two PROFINET ports, a PROFIBUS/MPI port, USB ports, an SD card slot and an audio interface. Functions include alarms, trends, recipes, scripts, Sm@rtServer remote access, and a web browser. The front is dust and water protected to IP65 and it has a glass front, and it is installed in a control cabinet cut-out. It is used as a machine operator panel in production lines, test stands and processing plants.
