The Computar MP3 series is a line of fixed focal length lenses for 2/3-inch sensors, designed for up to 8 megapixels with small-pixel cameras. They have C-mount threads and a range of focal lengths from wide angle to moderate telephoto. Manual focus and iris rings have lock screws to hold settings under vibration, and the optical design keeps distortion low and resolution high from center to corner. They are used for inspection, measurement and robotics with industrial cameras.
