The 3SU1 emergency stop pushbuttons are part of SIRIUS ACT, the Siemens 22 mm pushbutton and indicator system. The mushroom-head emergency stop is red on a yellow background and has a positive-opening function in the contact blocks, in line with IEC 60947-5-5. It is released by pushing and turning, pulling, or by key, depending on the version. SIRIUS ACT devices are built from a front element, a holder and contact modules that mount with a click system, available with screw terminals, spring-type terminals or solder pins. The front is plastic or metal, and the degree of protection can reach IP66, IP67 and IP69K. The devices can be connected to the AS-Interface or IO-Link for communication. They are used on control panels, machines and conveyor systems.
