IRB 360-1/1600 FlexPicker delta parallel robot

The IRB 360-1/1600 is a variant of ABB’s FlexPicker delta robot family, with a nominal payload of 1 kg and a working circle of about 1600 mm. Delta robots use three parallel arms driven from fixed motors above the work area, which gives very high speed and acceleration with low moving mass. The IRB 360 is controlled by the IRC5 or OmniCore controller and works with PickMaster software for conveyor tracking and vision-guided picking. The design uses a stainless steel base and washdown-capable options, making it suitable for food handling, and it is also available in other payloads and reaches within the IRB 360 series. A central telescopic axis provides rotation of the end effector. Typical applications are high-speed pick and place of food products, pharmaceuticals, consumer goods and electronics from moving conveyors into trays, cartons or blister packs, as well as sorting and assembly of lightweight items in packaging lines.
