M-3iA/6S high-speed parallel link delta robot

The FANUC M-3iA/6S is a parallel link delta robot designed for very fast pick-and-place, assembly, and packaging tasks. It has a payload of about 6 kg and a working area of roughly 1350 mm in diameter, with a wrist offering rotation of the end effector. Its parallel link structure keeps the moving mass low, which gives high acceleration and short cycle times for light products. The robot is intended for ceiling mounting above a conveyor and is commonly combined with iRVision for tracking items on a moving line. It is controlled by the FANUC R-30iB Plus controller using the same programming environment as FANUC articulated robots. The unit is built for hygienic environments in some variants, with washdown capability. Typical applications include food and pharmaceutical packaging, electronics assembly, small parts sorting, and any high-throughput line where lightweight items must be picked and placed accurately.
