D2-1000 two-axis and four-axis delta robot mechanism

Codian Robotics (part of Gudel) builds delta robots for high-speed handling in packaging, food and pharmaceutical production. The D2 series are two-axis delta robots, with D4 variants adding a rotating wrist. A delta robot has parallel arms joined to a common base that move a light end effector, giving very high acceleration and cycle rates. The D2-1000 is a model with a working diameter of about 1000 mm. It has a washdown-capable design and servo drives, and is used for fast picking of food products, pouches and blister packs from conveyors.
