System Joint Spring Return System for 6-Axis Robot Arms

The REIKU System Joint is a robot dress pack component that returns and guides the cables and hoses of an industrial robot as its axes move. A spring return mechanism holds the media supply in a controlled position, which prevents sagging, snagging and excessive bending of the cable harness. The system is designed for six-axis robots and is configured to match the axes and arm length of the specific robot model. Reduced wear in the dress pack increases cable life and lowers downtime. Typical applications include welding, handling and painting robots, where torsion and bending of media lines are a major cause of failures.
