A robot dress pack is a prepared assembly of cables, hoses and protective conduit mounted along an industrial robot arm so that power, signal, fieldbus and pneumatic or fluid lines move safely with the axes. Murrplastik offers dress pack systems for common robot families including the FANUC R-2000 series, a large, heavy-payload six-axis robot used in spot welding and handling. Typical components are corrugated or smooth conduit with swivel fittings, a retraction or tension compensation element, mounting brackets, cable clamps, and high-flex cable and hose elements chosen for continuous torsion. The aim is to define a controlled path for the lines, prevent snagging, reduce wear and lower maintenance downtime. Systems can be delivered pre-assembled and tested for the specific robot model and tooling, and routed externally or with hollow wrist adaptations. Applications include welding, handling, palletizing, and press tending in automotive and general manufacturing.
