SLM-5 Base Mounting Plate for Light Industrial Arms

The SLM-5 is described as a base mounting plate for light industrial arms from Swivellink. A robot base plate provides a rigid, flat and accurately drilled interface between the robot’s mounting footprint and the floor, table or pedestal, and it spreads the reaction loads from the arm over a wider area. Plates of this type are typically machined from aluminium or steel, with tapped or through holes in the pattern of the intended robot, and often include dowel pin locations for repeatable positioning after the robot is removed and refitted.
