The P01-37 series is LinMot’s mid-size family of tubular direct-drive linear motors. Each motor consists of a stator (PS01-37×60, 37×120 or 37×240, with HP high-performance and safety versions) containing the windings, position sensors and temperature monitoring, and a stainless steel slider tube (PL01-20 or heavy-duty PL02-20) filled with neodymium magnets that moves through it. Taking the PS01-37×240 as an example, it delivers 136 N peak force at 48 V DC and 203 N at 72 V DC, 52 N continuous with natural cooling or 96 N with fan cooling, strokes up to 1,280 mm (1,480 mm extended), and speeds up to 1.6 m/s at 48 V or 2.3 m/s at 72 V. Integrated sine/cosine position sensing gives repeatability of about ±0.05 mm. Stators are IP65 or IP67 with M23 connector, with a maximum winding temperature of 90 °C. The motors require LinMot servo drives such as the C1100 or C1200 series. Because there is no mechanical transmission, they suit high-cycle pick-and-place, labelling, sorting and dynamic test applications.
