CMP and CM3C series permanent magnet synchronous motors

CMP and CM3C are series of permanent magnet synchronous servo motors from SEW-Eurodrive. The CMP range is the established servomotor family for dynamic applications, offered in several frame sizes with standstill torques from under 1 Nm to over 100 Nm, with optional holding brakes and a choice of encoders, including resolver, absolute encoder and hiperface types. The CM3C series is a newer synchronous motor line designed for the MOVI-C modular automation system, with options for one-cable connection and higher torque density. Both motor families have low rotor inertia, which allows fast acceleration, and are suited to precise positioning, synchronous running and cyclic duty. They are typically combined with planetary or other precision gear units from SEW and are driven by MOVIDRIVE or MOVI-C inverters. Applications include packaging machines, handling systems, printing machines and assembly equipment.
