DS2 and DST2 series high-torque synchronous motors

The DS2 and DST2 are families of permanent magnet synchronous servo motors from Baumueller. The DS2 is a dynamic servo motor offered in several frame sizes with rated torque up to many tens of newton metres, and DST2 refers to a high torque series with a fan or water cooling in some versions. They are designed to be run on Baumueller b maXX drives, but can also be used with other servo drives. Features include high overload capacity, low cogging and a compact design with a rugged housing. Feedback options are resolver, incremental or absolute encoders, and brakes are available. Typical applications are machine tools, packaging, printing machines, plastics and handling systems where dynamic, precise motion is needed.
