713 Series single-reduction flanged worm gear reducers

Boston Gear’s 700 series worm gear speed reducers are cast-iron right-angle gearboxes widely stocked through distributors. They are single reduction, with a hardened steel worm running in a bronze worm wheel. The flanged variants give a face mounting pattern on the output for direct attachment to driven equipment, and the input can be a shaft or a C-face motor flange. The cast-iron housing gives rigidity and heat dissipation, and the unit is oil lubricated. Typical uses are conveyors, food processing equipment, agitators and packaging machinery.
