Q45 Series photoelectric sensor

The Q45 is a family from Banner Engineering of self-contained photoelectric sensors with a rectangular housing about 45 mm long. The family includes models with different sensing modes, such as diffuse, retroreflective, polarised retroreflective, convergent and thru-beam, and options for DC or AC voltage. Some Q45 variants use wireless communication within the Banner network, allowing the sensor to send data to a gateway without a signal cable, but the standard models give a discrete output. The housing is rated to IP67 and has a rugged design for industrial settings. Typical applications are part detection on conveyors, packaging machines, material handling and general presence sensing in automotive and factory automation.
