The Liquiphant FTL51 is a point level switch based on a vibrating tuning fork, for high or low level alarm, overfill protection and pump control in tanks and pipes. The fork vibrates at resonance and the electronics detect the frequency and amplitude change when it is covered by medium, independent of conductivity, density, flow or bubbles and with no calibration. Outputs include relay, PNP, NAMUR and 2-wire, and many versions are approved for SIL2 or SIL3 and hazardous areas. Uses are chemical, food and water.
