UAM-05LP safety laser scanner

The UAM-05LP is a safety laser scanner from Hokuyo, built to detect people in a protective field around a machine or an automated guided vehicle. It scans over 270 degrees, with a protective field of about 5 m, and can store multiple sets of protective and warning zones that are switched by inputs. The scanner is compact and meets Type 3 under IEC 61496 and PL d, so it can be used in safety functions in line with ISO 13849. Outputs are OSSD safety outputs. Typical applications are AGVs and AMRs, robot cells, and area guarding at machines.
