DTS 3000 Series Outdoor/Indoor Cooling Unit (DTS 3141)

The DTS 3000 series from Pfannenberg is a family of enclosure cooling units, also called air conditioners, that remove heat from electrical control cabinets. They use a compressor refrigeration circuit with a filterless or filter-equipped design, and are rated for outdoor or indoor installation depending on the version. The unit is mounted on or in the enclosure side wall, and has a controller that regulates the cabinet temperature and shows alarms, with a condensate management system. The housing is powder-coated sheet steel in a standard grey, and the unit can be supplied in stainless steel in some variants. The unit uses an environmentally friendly refrigerant. Typical applications include control cabinets for machine tools, plastics, packaging, process plants, telecoms, and outdoor installations where ambient temperature and dust or humidity prevent simple fan cooling.
