ADN Series Compact Cylinder (ADN-32-50-A-P-A)

The ADN-32-50-A-P-A is not an SMC product: the ADN series belongs to Festo. It is a double-acting compact cylinder according to ISO 21287 with a bore of 32 mm and a stroke of 50 mm. The A in the code stands for an internal thread on the piston rod, P for elastic cushioning at both ends, and the final A for a piston with magnet for position sensing. The cylinder has an anodised aluminium profile barrel and a rod made of high-alloy steel, and works at pressures from about 1 to 10 bar. Typical applications are clamping, pushing and short-stroke positioning in automation, where the installation space is tight. The closest SMC equivalents would be the CQ2 compact cylinder series.
