The PRA/182000 range, also called ISOLine, is Norgren’s family of ISO 15552 (formerly ISO 6431 and VDMA 24562) profile cylinders. According to the part code, this model is a 32 mm bore cylinder with 100 mm stroke, in the 182 series (with ‘M’ denoting magnetic piston). It is double acting, with cushioning at both ends in the standard variant, and has a magnetic piston for non-contact position sensing with reed or solid state switches. The anodised aluminium profile barrel has T-slots for sensor mounting, and the end covers are die cast. Rod material is hard-chromed steel, and seals are polyurethane or nitrile for operation with filtered compressed air, typically up to 10 bar. Mounting accessories include foot, flange, clevis and trunnion mounts that conform to the ISO standard dimensions. Typical applications include material handling, packaging, assembly automation, machine building and general factory automation.
