AS2 Series Air Preparation Unit (R412006240)

The AS2 series from Aventics is a modular air preparation range, containing filters, pressure regulators, lubricators and combinations of these, plus accessories for shut-off, soft start and distribution. Air preparation cleans compressed air and sets a stable working pressure before the air reaches valves and cylinders, which protects components and improves process reliability. The AS2 is a mid-size line with G1/4 to G1/2 ports in some variants, and the units can be connected using a modular block system with clamps. Filters remove particles and condensate, with a manual or automatic drain, and regulators are adjustable with a lockable knob and a pressure gauge. The housings are made of die cast or plastic parts and operate to about 10 to 16 bar depending on type. Typical applications are the supply of pneumatic machines, assembly and packaging lines and handling systems.
