1492-P3 Push-In terminal block

The 1492-P3 is a push-in feed-through terminal block from Allen-Bradley’s 1492 family of DIN rail terminal blocks. The push-in connection lets a solid conductor or a ferruled stranded conductor be inserted directly without tools, where a spring clamps it securely. The block mounts on a TS35 DIN rail and is made of flame retardant polyamide with a colour code for function. Accessories include jumpers, end plates, marker strips and test plugs, which make panel assembly flexible. Compared with screw terminals, push-in terminals reduce wiring time and hold well under vibration with less maintenance. Typical applications are industrial control panels, machine builders, motor control centres and process control cabinets, where many signal and power connections are made.
