Automation Panel 5000 industrial panel PC

The Automation Panel 5000 is a series of industrial display panels from B&R Automation, and it is part of the Panel PC range with the 5PC panel PC modules. The panels are available in various screen sizes from small to large, with options for multi-touch, single-touch or keys, and are designed to be combined with the Automation PC or a Panel PC unit. They use a rugged aluminium front with a flat glass surface sealed to a high IP rating and can be mounted in a cabinet or on a support arm. Connection to the computer is through SDL or DVI, with the Smart Display Link supporting longer distances. Typical applications are machine HMIs, process visualisation and operator stations in the packaging, plastics, printing and general manufacturing industries. B&R is now part of the ABB group.
