duraflex BX52P polyurethane vacuum suction cup

The BX52P is a bellows type suction cup from the Piab duraflex range, moulded in polyurethane. Bellows cups with several convolutions compress when vacuum is applied, which compensates for height differences and lets them grip curved, uneven or tilted surfaces and lift items from a stack. The 52 in the designation refers to the cup diameter in millimetres, and polyurethane offers high wear resistance, good tear strength and long service life compared with softer rubber compounds. The cups are screwed onto vacuum fittings of different thread types and are used with ejectors or pumps. Typical applications include handling cardboard boxes, plastic parts, sheet metal and other packaging items on pick and place systems and robot grippers in palletising, logistics and machine loading.
