Economy Line PLE 060 precision planetary gearboxes

The PLE series is the Economy Line of planetary gearboxes from Neugart, and size 060 refers to the nominal flange size of about 60 mm. It provides low torsional backlash for use with servo motors, a coaxial input and output, and a compact design with high efficiency, usually above 90 percent for one-stage units. Ratios are available in one and two stages covering a wide range, and the output may be a plain shaft, a keyed shaft, or flange. The input is adapted to the customer’s servo or stepper motor through a clamping hub and adapter plate. Lubrication is for life, and housing and output bearings are designed for radial and axial loads at moderate duty. Compared with the premium PLN line, the economy line offers lower cost with a somewhat higher backlash. Typical applications include packaging machines, handling systems, positioning axes, small robots, printing and general factory automation.
