NEMA 23 high-precision stepper motor

Moons’ Industries produces a broad range of two-phase hybrid stepper motors in NEMA 23 frame size (57 mm), commonly sold under the 23HS series designation. The motors have a 1.8 degree step angle, giving 200 full steps per revolution, and offer microstepping when paired with a suitable driver for smoother motion and finer resolution. Several stack lengths provide holding torque from about 1 N-m up to over 3 N-m, with rated phase currents that vary by winding. High-precision versions use tight manufacturing tolerances for low detent torque, low resonance and accurate step positioning, and options include dual shaft, rear encoder, integrated brake, or integrated driver and controller variants. Typical applications include 3D printers, CNC and engraving machines, labeling and packaging equipment, medical and laboratory devices, textile machinery, semiconductor handling, and small automated stages. They are normally driven by a chopper-type drive operating from a DC supply of roughly 24 to 80 V.
