ÖLFLEX FD 855 CP high-flex continuous movement cable

ÖLFLEX FD 855 CP is LAPP’s screened, halogen-free control and power cable for continuous flexing in cable carriers under harsh conditions. Conductors are extra-fine class 6 bare copper strands with TPE core insulation, twisted in short lay lengths, inside a TPE inner sheath with non-woven wrapping. A tinned copper braid provides EMC screening, and the grey PUR outer sheath resists abrasion, notching, mineral-oil based lubricants, diluted acids and alkaline solutions, and is rated oil and drilling-fluid resistant to IEC 61892-4. Minimum bending radius is 7.5 times the outer diameter in flexing use and 4 times when fixed. The temperature range is -40 to +80 °C flexing and -50 to +80 °C fixed. Voltage rating is 300/500 V to IEC and 1000 V under UL AWM style 21576 and cUL, with a 3 kV test voltage, and the sheath is flame retardant to IEC 60332-1-2. Constructions range from 2 x 0.5 mm² to multi-core 2.5 mm² versions such as 25 G 2.5. Applications include power chains on machine tools, wet machining areas, transfer lines and pick-and-place equipment.
