PLCnext Control AXC F 2152 edge controller

The AXC F 2152 is a PLCnext Control controller from Phoenix Contact, order number 2404267. It is a compact Axioline F device with a multicore ARM processor running a real-time Linux based firmware, programmable according to IEC 61131-3 as well as in C++, C# and Matlab Simulink through the open PLCnext Technology ecosystem. It provides two Ethernet interfaces, PROFINET controller functionality, an Axioline F local bus connection for I/O modules, and an SD card slot for program and data storage. Additional protocols such as OPC UA, MQTT and web services allow it to act as an edge gateway between the field level and cloud or IT systems. A 24 V DC supply powers the device, and it is mounted on a DIN rail. Typical uses include modular machine control, decentralised control tasks, data acquisition and edge computing in factory and building automation.
