SIMATIC IPC227E Nanobox PC

The SIMATIC IPC227E is a Nanobox PC, a very small, fanless industrial computer for DIN-rail or wall mounting. It is available with Intel Core i-series or Atom-class processors, up to 8 GB or more of DDR memory and a choice of CFast, SSD or M.2 storage. Interfaces include Gigabit Ethernet ports, USB 3.0 ports, a DisplayPort connection and a serial port. The unit runs on 24 V DC and has no moving parts, so it works in the temperature range of a control cabinet and withstands shock and vibration. Windows or Linux operating systems can be used, and optional software such as SIMATIC WinCC or Edge applications can be installed. It is used for visualisation, data acquisition, soft PLC and gateway tasks in machines and plants.
