UCFL Flanged Two-Bolt Mounted Bearing Unit (UCFL204)

The UCFL204 is a standard mounted bearing unit comprising a UC204 insert ball bearing in an FL204 two-bolt oval flange housing. The designation 204 means a 20 mm shaft bore. The housing is cast iron and is bolted to a flat surface by two fixing bolts through its flange, which makes it well suited to mounting on the side of a frame or wall where the shaft passes perpendicular to the mounting face. The insert bearing has a spherical outer ring that seats in the housing and lets the unit align itself, and a wide inner ring with set-screw locking to secure the shaft. Seals keep out dust and retain grease, and a lubrication fitting may be provided for relubrication. The unit is dimensionally standardized, so it interchanges with equivalent parts from other makers. Typical applications include conveyors, agricultural equipment, packaging and food machinery, fans, and light industrial machinery.
