The LS6-B is a four-axis SCARA robot from Epson’s LS-B series, built for high-speed small parts assembly and handling. The 600 mm version offers a payload up to 6 kg and repeatability around plus or minus 0.02 mm. It mounts on a table or floor stand and is available in standard and cleanroom versions. An Epson RC700 or RC90 controller and RC+ software program it, and vision and force sensing options are available. Uses are electronics assembly, screw fastening, pick and place and dispensing.
