LPH-040 four-axis compact SCARA robot

Denso Wave’s SCARA range includes the HSR, HS-G and compact small robots. A SCARA has two horizontal rotary joints for planar motion, a vertical axis and a rotating wrist, giving fast precise assembly motions. The 040 in the name probably indicates a reach near 400 mm but this is not confirmed, and the LPH designation could not be matched to a catalogue series. Denso robots are controlled by the RC8 controller and programmed with WINCAPS or PAC. Uses are small parts assembly, screw tightening, dispensing and inspection.
