PROmech three-axis linear gantry mechanical assembly

Parker Hannifin’s PROmech range comprises linear modules, belt and screw-driven actuators and combined multi-axis assemblies. A three-axis gantry consists of X, Y and Z axes assembled using Parker’s linear actuators, with servo or stepper motors, gearheads, cable carriers and mounting hardware. Axes can be belt-driven for high speed and long travels or ball screw driven for high precision and force, with profile rail or roller guides. The modular design lets the user specify travel lengths, motor type and mounting to suit the application. The assembly is typically controlled by a Parker drive and motion controller, or by a third-party system. Typical applications include pick and place, dispensing, material handling, packaging, inspection, laboratory automation and machine tending.
