2F-85 adaptive electric robot gripper

The 2F-85 is a two-finger adaptive electric gripper from Robotiq with a stroke of 85 mm. It is designed for collaborative robots, with a rated payload of about 5 kg for friction grip and a force-controlled grip. The gripping force, position and speed are programmable. The fingers adapt to the shape of the part in encompassing grips, and a wide choice of fingertips is available. The gripper is controlled over a digital or serial interface, and plug-and-play kits and software integrations exist for many robot brands. It operates on 24 V DC and is compact and light. Typical applications include machine tending, assembly, packaging, pick and place and laboratory automation, particularly where parts of different sizes must be handled by the same gripper.
