WWS100-001 automatic tool changer master module

The WWS100-001 is the master module of Zimmer Group’s WWS100 manual or automatic tool changer system, which allows end effectors to be exchanged on a robot. The master attaches to the robot flange and the tool module fits onto the tool, and the two are locked together by a pneumatic piston and ball locking mechanism. The system offers compact design, high holding forces and repeatable positioning. Pass-through for air and electrical signals is available through added modules. Typical applications include machine tending, assembly and palletising where a robot changes between grippers.
