X-Guard Wire Mesh Perimeter Safety Fencing Panels

X-Guard is a modular machine guarding system from Axelent, made of welded wire mesh panels that are attached to steel posts. The panels are produced in a range of heights and widths and can be combined with doors, sliding doors, corner posts and other accessories to enclose robots, machines and hazardous areas. The system is designed to meet safety standards for fixed guards, such as the mesh opening dimensions and distances required by ISO 13857, and to withstand impact loads. Panels are powder coated, normally in yellow, grey or other colours, and installation is done with fixing clips and screws, with no welding. The system is flexible, so layouts can be changed when the cell or machine is rebuilt. Options include safety switches for doors, polycarbonate panels, and mounting of equipment. Typical applications are robot cells, packaging lines, machine tools, conveyors and warehouses, where operator protection and perimeter control are required.
