Defender Modular Machine Safety Fencing System

Defender is a modular machine guarding system from Rite-Hite made from steel wire mesh panels, posts and accessories that bolt together to create safety barriers around robots, machines and automated cells. The panels are assembled without welding, so the layout can be reconfigured or extended as production needs change. Doors and access gates can be integrated with safety interlock switches. The mesh pattern allows operators to see into the cell while preventing entry and containing projectiles to a degree depending on the mesh gauge. The construction is designed to meet standard guarding requirements for openings and safety distances. Typical applications include robotic cells, conveyors, press lines, warehouses and any area where people must be separated from moving equipment.
