The CPU 1214C DC/DC/DC is a compact controller of the SIMATIC S7-1200 family with 24 V DC supply, 24 V DC inputs and transistor outputs. It provides 14 digital inputs, 10 digital outputs and 2 analog inputs (0 to 10 V) on board, 100 KB of work memory, and an integrated PROFINET interface with a two-port-capable Ethernet connection. High-speed counters, pulse outputs for stepper or servo drive positioning, and PID control functions are integrated. The CPU can be extended with up to eight signal modules, three communication modules and one signal board. It is programmed in STEP 7 in the TIA Portal and supports the Open User Communication, Modbus TCP and S7 communication. It suits small to medium machines such as packaging, handling and building services applications.
