CP1H Compact All-in-One PLC (CP1H-XA40DT-D)

The CP1H is a compact PLC from Omron that combines a CPU, I/O, analog functions and motion control in a single unit. The XA type has 40 built-in I/O points, with 24 digital inputs and 16 transistor outputs, and the DT suffix indicates a transistor sinking output, while the -D suffix indicates 24 VDC power supply. The unit also integrates analog inputs and outputs, which reduces the need for expansion modules. It has four high-speed pulse outputs for stepper or servo positioning, and high-speed counter inputs for encoder signals. Program memory is 20K steps. Two option board slots can take serial ports or other communication boards, and it can be extended with CPM1A series expansion units. Programming is carried out with CX-Programmer. Typical applications include small to medium machines, packaging equipment, simple motion control, test equipment and process monitoring. The CP1H is an older generation, and newer Omron CP2E or NX1P controllers are positioned for new designs.
