Kinetix 5700 dual-axis servo drive

The Kinetix 5700 is a servo drive family from Allen-Bradley, offered in single-axis and dual-axis inverter modules that share a common DC bus. Drives are configured with a converter or power supply, inverter modules and accessories, and the architecture allows regenerated energy to be shared between axes. They communicate over EtherNet/IP, integrate with ControlLogix and CompactLogix controllers, and are programmed in Studio 5000 Logix Designer. A safe torque off function is built in, and further safety options such as safe speed and safe stop functions are available through the integrated safety features. Motors are connected with a single cable when using compatible Kinetix VPL, MPL or similar motors with Hiperface DSL feedback. The drive also supports induction motor control and linear motors. Typical applications are multi-axis packaging, converting, assembly and material handling machines needing precise coordinated motion.
