MR-J4-100A AC servo drive amplifier

The MR-J4-100A is a 1 kW general-purpose servo amplifier in Mitsubishi Electric’s MELSERVO-J4 series for 200-240 V AC three-phase supply. The ‘A’ interface accepts pulse-train position commands and analog speed or torque commands, so it can be used with PLC positioning modules, motion controllers or third-party controllers, and it also supports an internal point-table positioning mode. With J4 servo motors it reads 22-bit absolute encoders and achieves a speed frequency response of 2.5 kHz. Built-in functions include one-touch and real-time auto tuning, advanced vibration suppression, robust and machine resonance filters, tough drive to ride through instantaneous power failures, and drive recorder and machine diagnosis for predictive maintenance. It has built-in regenerative resistor, STO safety function and a USB port for setup with MR Configurator2. Matching motors include HG-SR 1 kW and HG-JR models; the -RJ variant adds a fully closed loop input and positioning functions. Typical uses are positioning axes on packaging, material handling, press feeders and machine tool peripherals.
