SIMATIC S7-1500 Technology Module TM PTO 4 (6ES7552-1AA00-0AB0)

The TM PTO 4 is a technology module for the SIMATIC S7-1500 and ET 200MP system. It provides four pulse train outputs (PTO) that allow the controller to command up to four stepper motor or servo drive axes using pulse and direction signals, with an RS 422 / 24 V interface that depends on the configuration. Maximum output frequency reaches about 1 MHz for RS 422 signals. The module has digital inputs for reference switches and enable signals and digital outputs for drive enable. It is configured through Motion Control technology objects in the TIA Portal, so the axes behave in the same way as other S7-1500 axes, and it supports synchronous operation and cam functions.
