CX5100 motion interface option card module

The CX5100 is a compact DIN-rail Embedded PC from Beckhoff built on an Intel Atom processor, running Windows or TwinCAT/BSD with TwinCAT 3 for PLC, motion control and measurement. It is extended through the Beckhoff Bus Terminal and EtherCAT Terminal system, and interface options such as serial, fieldbus master or slave connections are chosen at order time. Motion functions such as drive axes are added through EtherCAT terminals or the integrated EtherCAT master rather than a plug-in card. It is fanless, with a metal housing, and suits small to medium machine controllers in packaging, handling and building automation.
