The Matrox Iris GTR is a smart camera from Matrox Imaging, now part of Zebra Technologies. It integrates an Intel Celeron N2807 dual-core processor at 1.58 GHz with 2 GB RAM and 32 GB eMMC storage in an IP67 housing with protective lens cover, and runs Windows 10 IoT Enterprise. Four ON Semiconductor PYTHON CMOS sensor options are offered in monochrome or colour: 640 x 480 at up to 293 fps, 1280 x 1024 at 85 fps, 1920 x 1200 at 45 fps and 2592 x 2048 at 21 fps (mono). Interfaces include Gigabit Ethernet on an M12 connector, USB 2.0, VGA output, three opto-coupled inputs with rotary encoder support, a trigger input and three opto-coupled outputs, plus hardware-assisted PROFINET. A 0-10 V output controls LED light intensity and an interface drives Varioptic liquid-lens autofocus modules. It is powered from 24 V DC at about 11 W and weighs 460 g. Applications are programmed with the Matrox Imaging Library (MIL) SDK or the flowchart-based Matrox Design Assistant, for inspection, measurement, code reading and robot guidance.
