Lector63x image-based code reader

The Lector63x is a range of image-based code readers from SICK. It uses a camera sensor with built-in illumination and a decoder to read bar codes and 2D codes such as Data Matrix and QR on products, packages and components. Several versions exist with differing resolutions, lens options, focus types and illumination colours, and the standard housing includes a display and button for setup. The device is set up with the SOPAS ET configuration software, and it supports Ethernet interfaces such as TCP/IP, PROFINET and EtherNet/IP as well as serial and digital interfaces. The reader provides good reading performance for direct part marking and low-contrast codes. It is used for tracking and traceability in automotive, electronics, pharmaceutical and packaging lines, and for conveyor-based identification.
