The SR-2000 series is Keyence’s long-range, wide-field fixed-mount code reader. It uses a 2048 x 1536 pixel CMOS sensor and built-in autofocus that sets the focal position during installation, with a green LED pointer to aid aiming. The standard SR-2000 reads from 100 to 2,000 mm with a field of view of about 263 x 197 mm at 800 mm, while the ultra-wide SR-2000W covers 50 to 1,000 mm with a 707 x 530 mm field at the same distance; an SR-20AH close-up attachment allows reading at 35 to 70 mm. Supported symbologies include QR, Micro QR, DataMatrix (ECC200 and GS1), PDF417, GS1 Composite, DotCode and common linear codes such as Code 128, Code 39, ITF, EAN/UPC and GS1 DataBar. Interfaces are Ethernet with TCP/IP, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET and MC protocol, RS-232C, USB 2.0, and two inputs with three photo-MOS outputs. The housing is IP65, the unit weighs about 300 g, and it tolerates up to 10,000 lux ambient light. Setup uses AutoID Network Navigator software. Typical uses are reading labels on cartons, pallets and totes in logistics and traceability codes on automotive parts.
