IF5810 inductive proximity switch

The IF5810 is an inductive proximity sensor from ifm’s Efector range. Inductive sensors produce an electromagnetic field and switch when a metal target enters it, so they are wear-free and robust against dirt, oil, and vibration. The housing is a threaded metal cylinder that is mounted in a bracket and connected through a cable or a connector. Typical applications are detecting the position of a machine part, counting metal parts, and end-position sensing on cylinders and slides.
